10 Foods Which Stress The Adrenal Glands

Ten foods which should probably be avoided during recovery from adrenal fatigue and burnout.

All of these foods stress the adrenal glands to some degree and have the ability to impact blood sugar levels.

The majority of these foods with the exception of tea and possibly coffee are unhealthy and serve no purpose to be included within a healthy diet anyway.

Alcohol should be avoided because it places a massive stress on an already likely compromised liver. The liver is one of the main regulators of endocrine function and hormones. Most alcoholic beverages are also very rich in sugar, which again stimulates the adrenal glands.

Tea and coffee are contraindicated during recovery from adrenal fatigue because they are sources of caffeine, which acts as a stimulant to the adrenal glands.
